All roads seem to lead back to Washington DC on this one, I cn=an't seem to find an Alaska address for them. I am still working on it. What I do know that disturbs me is that per the 2005 census, there were only 99,683 Alaska residents between the ages of 15-24, of whom of course not nearly all are natives. Will add comments as my research progresses. Certainly this should be in a form other than earmark, to the tune of $34MM. (WOW!)

Please note that no sponsoring member is listed. Can someone please verify that this is really recorded as an earmark, as the amount and the purpose please the lack of a sponsoring member would seem to indicate it may actually be an EDU Appropriation (?).

These funds were requested by Senator Ted Stevens and not to be outdone, a similar request was made for Hawaii by Senators Inoue and Akaka. Go team go!!! This needs to be put in the perspective of an almost $600,000,000,000 total education budget. Wow!
