Raytheon (St. Petersburg, Florida) is plagued with a dangerous chemical plume under the plant. The plume is spreading and threatens neighboring homes and the Gulf of Mexico. There are other manufacturing facilities in Pinellas County that have dangerous chemical plumes, but Bill Young keeps granting them earmark money. Raytheon received two $5 million earmark grants in 2008, there could be more money on the way. Where Bill Young grants earmark money, dangerous chemical plumes follow.
